I'm a DMV-based theater and film actor with interests in directing and producing and an extensive experience in both contemporary and classical theater styles.

A few things I love: the enduring relationship between tragedy and comedy; English and ancient Greek literature; philosophy and the history of ideas; food cultures around the world; developmental psychology; formal rhetoric and debate; queer storytelling; and new play development—particularly in the realm of inspired, edgy, modern adaptations of old stories.

I hold an M.F.A. from The Shakespeare Theatre Company and am a graduate of The Studio Acting Conservatory and The University of Virginia. I'm also a sometime-writer with a background in magazine journalism; I've written for several national publications and hope to grow my small body of playwriting and solo show work.

As a kid and teen, I trained for ten years in classical ballet, performing professionally with The Richmond Ballet in Richmond, VA. I was a dancer at birth—like Marc Bolan of the iconic classic rock band T. Rex, I "danced myself right out the womb."
